Hey guys...I'm new to this game and really like the site. I've played several sims games and found it to be great help to work with a vet for guidance and advice to help with my team development and game enjoyment. I've got plenty of questions...like fatigue management, training effectiveness, developing lines and line strategys..stuff like that. So if your a vet who would like to work together and share your knowledge...let me know.

Write press releases, it's an easy 22K$ per year. And it's the most fun part of the game.
Keep your players 21 y.o. and under in the minors, play your 22 y.o. and older. Train.
In the minors, a 18-21 y.o. player will gain 50 talent points (spread according to their talent -- a player skilled in handling will get even better in handling)
A 22 y.o. player in the minors will gain about 20 talent points.
Every player under 27 y.o. player will gain an experience point per game he plays, so that will be 22 points per year. Add to this team training (one per game), that's another 22 points. Add to this some specific training (+2 per player per game), that's another 44 points.
So... a 22 y.o. player in the minors gains 20 talent points per year.
In the big league, if he plays and is trained, that's around 85 points (barring minor injuries and tougher games where you bench him). You do the math!
Don't train too many players, if you do, you'll run out of cash. Especially if a goalie is involved. Plan long term.
After 15 fatigue points, training becomes ineffective.
After 30 y.o., training doesn't always work.
That's a good head start. You'll have to figure the rest out!
