What happens when there aren't enough teams to form a league? I know that incomplete leagues will be merged to make complete ones, but when I scanned the available leagues I only found 7 rookie teams who are in incomplete leagues. In the french public and private leagues I see 23 teams in incomplete leagues. Will we be playing with ghost teams?

Yes, you will be playing with ghost teams, and they may even win the right to take your league's first overall draft pick, as the new Sportegy owner Bob Barker gets a real human to manage the ghost team with the intent of improving its roster.

In my opinion this is a crappy deal, as the ghost team is destined to be recycled back into the available franchise store as a week rookie team at the end of the season. Shouldn't paying customers be rewarded with the best available draft players rather than a team operated by no one and destined for the trash can?

Maybe as an insane middle ground compromise ... make the ghost teams come from the list of teams without owners. And if they stink and take up a high draft choice, then ... well, at least that draft choice ends up somewhere in the Alphasim universe rather being stolen from existence by the boney hand of Death.

Some of non-rookie leagues include teams added to have a full 12 team league. These teams are managed by Alphasim's friends. They may not publish press release on a regular basis but players are trained, line-up are done and draft choices are updated to improve the teams.
The goal is to add good team in incomplete leagues and to provide good teams for DG who want to play in stronger leagues in the future.

Rookie leagues may contain ghost team. Some people register team in league but to not really care to them afterwards.
